Finished Production Order in Business Central:
(1) In this blog, we will get to know about the Finished Production Order in Business Central D365. It is a document that is important in completing the lifecycle of a Production Order and its final cost.
(2) For this go to the search bar and type “Released Production Orders”, as shown.
(3) After that, a list of “Released Production Orders” opens. For finishing the selected production order, go to the Action → Function → Change Status, as shown.
(4) After that press new, pop window open and fill in the mandatory information, and then press the “Ok” button, as shown.
(5) After that confirmation window opens, Press “Yes”, as shown.
(6) Note → The below confirmation window opens only in that case when consumption of the Production Order is pending. If you press “Yes” then the system changes the status of the production order to finished but the cost of the FG product is not calculated properly because less raw-material and semi-finished materials are used as per the defined BOM. So, it is recommended to do pending consumption and then change the status, as shown.
(7) After that, the Status of the RPO changed to Finished Production Order, as shown.
(8) Now go to the search bar and type “Finished Production Order”, as shown.
(9) After that, the Finished Production order List and Card open, as shown.
