Inventory Value Zero field on Item Master in D365 BC:

(1) In this blog we will learn about the “Inventory Value Zero” field used in the Business Central D365. Using this feature, the Item Inventory maintains zero value as shown below.

(2) Now, let’s take an example, Create One Item and select this item in Sales or Purchase Order.

  • If “Inventory Value Zero” is Disabled After posting the document, check the Value Entry Cost Amount Actual field having value.
  •  If “Inventory Value Zero” is enabled after posting the document, check the Value Entry Cost Amount Actual field having zero value.

(3) Conclusion: If you maintain the Item inventory with zero value, then use this feature.

(4) Note: This field is not visible in the Item List and Card. Use Personalization feature (Refer Here: Restore and Change in Pages by using Personalize in BC D365) and add this field in the Item Master.
