Find Documents and its Related Entries in Tables in D365 BC:

(1) In this blog, we see how to find documents and their related entries in tables.

(2) Let’s take an example, Find Posted Sales Invoice document via “Find Entries” utility (in previous version “Find Entries” name was “Navigate”).

(3) This feature is available on all posted documents like Posted Sales Invoice, Posted Sales Shipment, Posted Purchase Invoice, Posted Purchase Receipt, General Ledger Entries etc. or you can directly open the “Find Entries” page in the search bar.

(4) In this blog we are finding “Posted Sales Invoice Document” from both options as shown.

Find Posted Sales Invoice Document: “IN-SI-00002” directly.
  • Go to the search bar and type “Find Entries”, as shown.

  • After that “Find Entries” opens, as shown.

  • Then enter document no. in the highlighted field and press button “Find”, as shown.

  • After that, system shown all related entries of entered document no. as shown.

  • You can also drill down these entries for checking nature of entries.
Find Posted Sales Invoice Document: “IN-SI-00002” from “Posted Sales Invoice List or Document.
  • Go to the search bar and type “Posted Sales Invoices”, as shown.

  • Click on “Find Entries” Feature in “Posted Sales Invoice List”, as shown.

  • After that click on “Find Entries” Feature in “Posted Sales Invoice Document”, as shown.
